Angela White is a professional entertainer (actor, singer, musician) performing for over 20 years across Canada and in France.
Angela studied music at the Mount Royal Conservatory and was a member of the Calgary Youth Orchestra. She performed at Royal Albert’s Hall in London and at the Sydney Opera House in Australia. In the early part of her career, she studied classical theatre ( Molière); literature, and music in France. At University, she also acquired a BA and a B.Ed and went on to teach high school French. In the French schools, Angela also directed several choirs ; directed and adapted many stage plays, some of which are Romeo & Juliet; The Hunchback of Notre-Dame; The Lion King, and Beauty & The Beast.
Over the years Angela has had extensive acting experience in film and in theatre. Since 1998, she has worked on more than 200 film sets, with Principal Roles, one of which was Bernadette the Waitress in the feature film, “Knockaround Guys“, next to Vin Diesel, Seth Green, Barry Pepper, Dennis Hopper and John Malkovich. Some of her other film/tv credits include featured roles in “Shanghai Noon” (Jackie Chan), “ The Other Woman” (Jason Priestly)”, The Heidi Fleiss Story“, and “The Sheldon Kennedy Story“. She has also done extensive stand-in work and photo doubling for many renowned actors. A few of these are: Kimberly Williams (from Father of The Bride in “Identity Theft”), Amanda Detmer (from Final Destination in “Picking up and Dropping Off“), Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez in the movie “Holiday in Handcuffs“, and Mila Kunis (from “That 70’s Show” ) in the movie “Straight Edge“.
Angela began acting and singing in elementary school, but she started seriously studying acting in 1997 and continues to do so. She has studied under Jackie Lind (Canadian Casting Director), Lori Ravensborg (student of the Sanford Meisner Technique at the Actor’s Studio in New York) and Christianne Hurt (Company of Rogues—co-starred in the Accused with Jody Foster; the series Lonesome Dove and co-starred with Russell Crowe.) Angela’s theatre experiences include playing several characters in the off Broadway Musical Hit, Tony N Tina’s Wedding during 8 seasons, a period of 10 years. Her most recent and long running character in this popular dinner theatre is Celeste Romano – the Vegas Wedding Singer. Other theatre credits are Katherine in The Untamed – an adapted version of Taming of The Shrew for the Shakespeare Company. And she has performed in countless murder mysteries with Terry Shane Murder Mysteries.
